Report every SourceFile whose raw source path ends exactly in .java, including parse errors and other source types. Retains actual source-file and sole project/source-set marker identities and exact marker cardinalities without changing sources. Scope state describes recorded markers only, not runtime visibility or successful compilation. Identities are opaque and original-model/run-local; project names and paths never supply missing scope. Semantic Java joins additionally require a unique JAVA_COMPILATION_UNIT occurrence in the same original payload.

Usage

Run this recipe

This recipe has no required configuration options. Users of Moderne can run it via the Moderne CLI.

You will need to have configured the Moderne CLI on your machine before you can run the following command.

If the recipe is not available locally, then you can install it using:

RELEASE resolves to the newest release and LATEST to the newest build of any kind, including snapshots. Either one lets mod config recipes upgrade pull in later versions without editing this command; a pinned version stays where you put it.

Every SourceFile occurrence whose raw path ends exactly in .java, including parse errors and other source types. Actual source/marker identities are opaque and local to the original model/run. No path/name-based scope or visibility inference; duplicate paths are not unique joins.

Column	Description
Source path	Raw SourceFile.getSourcePath().toString(), ending case-sensitively in .java. Occurrences are never deduplicated; duplicate paths make a path-only join ambiguous.
Source file ID	Actual SourceFile.getId() UUID string. Opaque original-model/run-local identity; not a stable identity across expanded aliases or runs.
Source kind	JAVA_COMPILATION_UNIT for an actual J.CompilationUnit, PARSE_ERROR for an actual org.openrewrite.tree.ParseError, or OTHER for any other SourceFile. Semantic Java joins require JAVA_COMPILATION_UNIT.
Project marker count	Exact number of actual JavaProject markers in the top-level SourceFile markers, including duplicates with equal IDs, names or values.
Project ID	Actual sole JavaProject.getId() UUID string, or SQL null unless the project marker count is exactly one. Opaque original-model/run-local identity; never inferred.
Project name	Actual sole JavaProject.getProjectName(), preserving null or empty. SQL null when no sole project marker exists. Descriptive only; never a key or identity fallback.
Source set marker count	Exact number of actual JavaSourceSet markers in the top-level SourceFile markers, including duplicates with equal IDs, names or values.
Source set ID	Actual sole JavaSourceSet.getId() UUID string, or SQL null unless the source-set marker count is exactly one. Opaque original-model/run-local identity; never inferred.
Source set	Actual sole JavaSourceSet.getName(), preserving empty. SQL null when no sole source-set marker exists; never inferred from repository, path, module or publication.
Scope state	AMBIGUOUS if either marker count exceeds one; otherwise KNOWN only with exactly one project and one source-set marker and a nonnull/nonempty source-set name; INCOMPLETE otherwise. Describes recorded markers, not runtime visibility or compilation success.
