Find class hierarchy

org.openrewrite.java.search.FindClassHierarchy

Discovers all class declarations within a project, recording which files they appear in, their superclasses, and interfaces. That information is then recorded in a data table.

Usage

This recipe has no required configuration options. Users of Moderne can run it via the Moderne CLI.

You will need to have configured the Moderne CLI on your machine before you can run the following command.

shell
mod run . --recipe FindClassHierarchy

If the recipe is not available locally, then you can install it using:

mod config recipes jar install org.openrewrite:rewrite-java:8.74.1

Column NameDescription
Source PathThe path to the source file which declares the subclass.
Class nameThe class or interface which extends or implements another class or interface.
SuperclassThe class extended by the subclass.
InterfacesComma-separated list of interfaces implemented by the class.
